Atlantis

Also known as: Lost City of Atlantis

Atlantis is the work of the Cayman artist Foots, who set out to build his vision of the lost city on the sand off Cayman Brac's north shore. The first phase laid out an archway, an avenue of eleven temple columns and a large sundial called the Inner Circle of Light, followed by a pyramid about 18 ft tall. The sculptures stand on sand in roughly 12 to 15 m, so the operator rates it as a novice site open to all certified divers. Marine growth and cleaner shrimps soon settled on the stone, and stingrays and eagle rays are common in the area.
