Moore Reef
Moore Reef is big enough for three pontoon operators, Sunlover, Reef Magic and Great Adventures, without them seeing each other. Its eastern side has a deep outer wall, while the western side is sheltered. Dive centres describe staghorn thickets, very large giant clams, sandy channels with rays and whitetip reef sharks, and swim-throughs with lionfish and Maori wrasse. Pontoon dives are guided and limited to 18 metres, while Reef Magic takes certified divers by tender to drift, wall and channel dives. The reef suits families and non-swimmers as well, thanks to its pontoon facilities.
