Flat-Top Bommie
Flat-Top Bommie lies in protected water next to the reef flat and lagoon of Norman Reef, so snorkellers and introductory divers can explore the shallow, sandy reef without current or swell. The site's name comes from the large coral outcrop behind the mooring. A deep channel separates that outcrop from the main reef and gives intermediate and advanced divers undulating reefscapes, swim-throughs and coral canyons. Visibility here often reaches 20 metres.
