USS Apogon
Also known as: Apogon · Apagon · USS Apogon SS-308
The 95 m submarine was refitted for remote control before the tests and survived the Able airburst undamaged. It is one of the most complete wrecks at Bikini, and a torpedo is still loaded in a stern tube. Glassy sweepers crowd around the conning tower, and the propellers can be seen at the stern.
