John's Tunnel
Also known as: Johns Tunnel
Divers descend at the mooring bommie and cross about 40 m to an upright Japanese trawler with its mast still standing, where the wheelhouse and holds can be entered. Back at the bommie, the route climbs into a tunnel of about 9 m that rises at an angle and is hung with sea fans and soft corals. Hard corals continue up to a safety stop among bright red soft corals and sponges. Extra Divers Worldwide gives the tunnel a width of about 1.5 to 2.5 m and puts the wreck at about 24 m.
