Vila

The site lies off Vila, one of the two main villages on the east coast, south of Beloi. Like Beloi it has a fringing reef, a small barrier reef, a slope and a drop-off. The slope is mostly covered in hydroids and soft corals and is famous for very large numbers of red-toothed triggerfish. Bumphead parrotfish and turtles appear now and then, and the reef also hides nudibranchs and shrimps for macro fans.
