Big Fish
The site lies on a point at the south-western corner of the island, where a patch of shallow reef ends in a drop to deep water and the strong current turns and churns around it. Dive Timor Lorosae runs it as a deep dive in powerful current, surrounded by schooling pelagic fish. Barracuda, trevally, tuna and mackerel are the usual company, and sharks, giant trevally and snappers are reported as well. On lucky days hammerhead sharks and dolphins have been seen. Because the currents are strong and unpredictable, operators keep it for advanced divers with a good number of logged dives.
