Cabez Reef

Also known as: Cabez Reef (Shark Cave)

Pure Diving places it on the rough north and east side of the island near Seroe Colorado, where good conditions are rare. Few divers visit, and the hard and soft corals are in very good shape. Pure Diving reaches it by jumping from a rocky ledge into the waves and drifting along the reef to a shallow exit, while others arrive by charter boat. Barracuda, amberjacks and rainbow runners patrol the reef, stingrays rest on the sand, and eagle rays are spotted in numbers. The Serito Pinnacle rises at the southeast end of the reef.
