Bufador
Also known as: Ponta do Bufador
Bufador is a point of Ilha de Cabo Frio, an island lined with cliffs that erosion has carved into sea caves. Dive centres group it with the deeper exposed sites, at 15 to 40 m and with frequent larger animals. A sea cave that cave divers explored for about 120 m, named Gruta do Coelho, opens at this point. Waves and surge can be strong.
