Abobrinha
Abobrinha is a small inlet of Ilha de Cabo Frio sheltered from the prevailing northeast wind, and one of the busiest sites in the Arraial do Cabo marine reserve. Its rocks are covered mainly by algal turf and a zoanthid, with branching fire coral in the shallows down to about 4 m. Sponges and an octocoral become more frequent around 8 m. Dive centres count it among the best sites for turtles, lobsters and rays such as stingrays, cownose rays and spotted eagle rays.
