Dhigurah Beyru
Also known as: Dhigurah Beru
Exposed to the open sea, the reef starts a few metres down and slopes to a terrace at around 30 metres before falling away further. Schools of fusiliers, turtles and eagle rays pass in the blue, while moray eels and leaf fish live on the reef itself. Whale sharks are regularly encountered here, and manta rays are possible. Currents run from moderate to strong, so dives follow the reef on whichever shoulder the tide allows. Boat traffic from whale shark trips is heavy, so a surface marker buoy is strongly advised.
