Broken Rock
The rock lies in the Dhigurah channel between Dhigurah and Dhangethi, and a diagonal split runs right through its middle. Most guides lead divers through this canyon, where gorgonians, sponges and soft corals grow in every crack, so good buoyancy matters. Napoleon wrasse, turtles, moray eels, scorpionfish and triggerfish are common, and in good current grey reef sharks, jacks and tuna appear. A second rock formation to the east holds schools of blue-lined snappers and barracuda. With the top around 12 metres there are no shallows, so safety stops are made in open water.
