Dive center Native Sea Amami

Native Sea Amami is a dive centre in Amami Oshima, Japan. It guides small groups, usually around four divers and at most six, with a strong focus on careful briefings, safety and a relaxed pace. The centre runs boat diving across the waters of northern East China Sea, central East China Sea and northern Pacific areas, with visibility around 20 to 30 metres and a mix of terrain, coral, sand, drop-offs, caves and inner-bay sites. In the north, shallow sites suit beginners and photographers, while winter brings beach diving on the Pacific side and sea turtle encounters along the reef. It also runs whale watching, whale swim tours for licensed divers, try dives and snorkeling, with a license course that can lead to a C card in as little as two days.
