The MS Zenobia, a RO-RO ferry, capsized and sank on 7 June 1980 on her maiden voyage, coming to rest about 1,500 m offshore at a depth of about 42 metres. It is consistently ranked among the top wreck dives worldwide, reachable in about 15 minutes by boat from Larnaca.
