Lobería Tres Puntas
The bay hosts an important colony of the Juan Fernández fur seal, the only mammal endemic to the archipelago. According to the Crusoe Island Lodge, the seals are the real attraction, and they interact so closely with divers that some visitors have touched them. Archipiélago Expediciones runs snorkel trips to the colony and uses the rookery for surface intervals between its dives in Bahía Tres Puntas. The operator stresses approaching the colony quietly so the animals are not disturbed.
