Bus Stop
The name comes from an old school bus abandoned on the shore opposite the site. A sand chute that opened during a northwester in December 1989 runs through the wall reef and spills over the drop-off, and a large tunnel leads from about 60 ft through the coral ridge to the wall at around 90 ft. The mini-wall under the boat is crowded with blue chromis, other schooling fish and lobsters. Large barrel sponges grow along the wall, including one with a big hole in its side east of the mooring. Reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles and stingrays pass by, and vase sponges host cleaner gobies, crinoids and arrow crabs.
