Double Reef
The site lies in Otrobanda between the Superior Producer and Fisherman's Wharf; shore divers enter near the Water Factory site. The first reef bottoms out around 14 m; the outer reef starts near 18 m and drops beyond recreational depth. The inner reef is known for wave and finger corals and brain corals, the outer one for even bigger brain and star corals. Gobies, blennies, cleaner shrimps and juvenile boxfish live in the sand between. Entry from the rocky shore can be awkward in waves, and divers should stay shallow when a current runs.
