Corinne's Reef
Corinne's Reef was found by Mafia Island Diving and is named after the mother of one of the owners, who came across it during an exploration dive. The reef begins as three tongues of coral divided by pure white sand. Hard corals, small sponges and anemones cover the reef. In the seagrass around it divers find snake eels and nudibranchs, with large rays resting on the sand. Green turtles and big schools of oriental sweetlips and surgeonfish are typical.
