Triggerfish City
Triggerfish City owes its name to the many red-toothed triggerfish that gather on the reef top, which starts at about 5 m. Unlike most Tubbataha sites the seabed is mainly sand with scattered patches of coral and sparse staghorn. It is dived as a drift. Titan triggerfish are common and defend their nests in season, so divers should keep their distance. Surgeonfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, fusiliers, blennies and gobies live among the coral heads.
