Schools of yellowback and neon fusiliers surround the thila, with bigeye trevallies and barracudas waiting to feed on them. Napoleon wrasse, many moray eels and lionfish live on the reef. Eagle rays, whitetip reef sharks and nurse sharks are also seen.
