Camel

Also known as: Chameau

Camel is a site off Nosy Sakatia named after two rocky humps that rise close together from a sandy bottom. Whitetip reef sharks patrol the sand around them.

The two rock outcrops give the site its name, and the sand between and around them is where whitetip reef sharks are seen. A school of snappers and bigeyes has settled in the gap between the humps. Blue-spotted stingrays move over the bottom, and leaf scorpionfish hide on the rocks. It is also called 'Chameau'.
