Tombant des Pharillons

Also known as: Les Pharillons

The Tombant des Pharillons is the wall that falls from the southern Pharillon islet, at the south-east end of Maïre island, to about 45 m. Boats find shelter here in a light Mistral, but anchoring is hard because the wall is vertical. The usual route passes the arches and then descends to the right along the wall, with the stops finished in one of the arches where fish often gather. Current is frequent, so a surface cover boat is advised, and the arches and the Liban wreck are best kept for separate dives.
