Dindini Wall
Also known as: Dindini Wall North · Dindini North · Dindini South
Dindini Wall is described as the only true rock wall found around Mafia and runs along the eastern side of the island outside Chole Bay. The top lies at about 7 to 8 m and the wall drops to around 25 m and deeper before sloping off to sand. Small caverns, overhangs and a rock archway are surrounded by reef fish, with sea fans and whip corals on the lower wall. Napoleon wrasse, big potato groupers, turtles and large rays are common. Being close to the open ocean, tuna, other pelagics and sometimes sharks pass by.
