Barracuda Bight

Barracuda Bight lies between Coconut Walk and Joy's Joy at the western end of Bloody Bay. The wall top lies near 25 ft and breaks up into coral fingers and outcrops that reach about 80 ft, cut by crevices, tunnels and overhangs. Lobsters and spider crabs hide in these gaps, and green and black-and-white morays are often seen. Anemones and flamingo tongue snails live on the soft corals and small coral heads along the wall top, and hawksbill turtles and nurse sharks visit. One operator notes that the site is popular despite its name.
