Punta Berrugo

Also known as: Pecios · Punta Berruga

Local guides also call the area Pecios after the wrecks, and it is often split into two dives, Pecios Nuevo and Pecios Viejo. The route follows a low ledge where the rock meets the sand, and the lava has formed shapes with many small hollows and crevices to look into. A small cave holds resident moray eels, and the few remains of old fishing vessels lie nearby. Large schools of bream and barracuda are almost always present, and rays rest under the ledges. Conditions are usually calm with little current, and divers simply follow the edge out and come back with the rock on the other side.
