Las Coloradas

Also known as: Coloradas

The reef is long enough that dive centres split it into two dives, Coloradas 1 and Coloradas 2. It is narrow, so divers can cross from one side to the other and see both faces on one dive. A natural archway and a small cave that leads up through the top of the reef break up the route, and the arch is the usual starting point of two routes in opposite directions. Under the overhanging ledge divers find moray eels, giant anemones, cleaner shrimp and octopus. Because the reef lies in line with the shore it is sheltered from current, and schools of barracuda and bream as well as rays and angel sharks gather along it.
