Miraflores Wreck
Also known as: Miraflores · Naufragio del Miraflores
Archipiélago Expediciones places the wreck in its farthest dive zone, at Santa Clara Island, about an hour and twenty minutes by boat from the village. The ship went down in 1921 and the dive centre describes the wreck as a bank of marine life. It is reserved for advanced divers holding a deep diving certification, and the centre offers that speciality course on the island for those who qualify. Underwater photographer and instructor Pablo Zavala, interviewed by Austerra Society, stresses that bottom time on the wreck is very short and that overstaying is dangerous. The trip is usually combined with a circumnavigation of Robinson Crusoe Island on the way back.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
