Bajo la Tortuga
Also known as: La Tortuga · Turtle Reef
The Crusoe Island Lodge describes the shoal as a set of big rocky formations with caves and calls the dive an entertaining route among them. Schools of breca, corvina and jerguilla move between the rocks, and the lodge also lists black coral, flatfish, cabrilla and yellowtail amberjack. AustralDivers includes Bajo la Tortuga in its Juan Fernández expedition as one of the highlight dives in the north-west of the island, dived with the local operator's boat.
