Sankaku-iwa
Also known as: 三角岩 (Japanese) · No. 3
The site is reached in five to ten minutes from Akazawa harbour. A steep drop-off falls away into deep water and gives the site its dramatic terrain. Marine Diving calls it an anthias heaven: several rare anthias species that usually live deeper are seen here at around 37 m, and other anthias crowd the shallows. Green turtles are numerous here.
