Black Rock
Black Rock lies south of Anse Mondon on Silhouette Island and is usually reached on full-day trips from Mahé. The boulders tumble down like a wall and form caverns and overhangs. Sweetlips, lionfish and parrotfish rest in the shade, and small caves sometimes hold sleeping sharks. Labriz Dive Center describes a mix of soft and hard corals with rich tropical fish life between 6 and 15 m.
