Paroi des Mérous
Also known as: La paroi aux mérous · Grouper Wall
The Paroi des Mérous is a vertiginous wall that drops to about 40 m. It is named after the giant groupers that live along it, including potato groupers. Barracudas, jacks, kingfish and snappers patrol the face, while nudibranchs, porcelain shells and turtles are found closer in. A strong current often runs along the wall, which is why operators only take experienced divers.
