Arta Plage

Also known as: Arta Beach

Arta Plage is the beach of Arta on the southern shore of the Gulf of Tadjoura, where divers can park, walk in from the beach and simply follow the drop-off. Liveaboards also stop here for a dive. The Scuba News describes underwater cliffs and calm conditions that suit novices. Schools of barracuda and resident green turtles are the highlights, and in autumn whale shark trips used to leave from this beach.
