Chaikou
Also known as: 柴口 (Chinese (Traditional, Taiwan)) · Chai Kou · Chaikou Snorkeling Area
A diving trail leads from the shore over the fringing reef so that divers and snorkellers do not trample the intertidal zone. Below, reef platforms covered with clumps of stony coral step down to standing reef rocks, which gives the site a layered landscape. Turtles feed and rest here, and the north coast is a known area for pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and other macro life. It is best from June to August, when it lies in the lee of the southwest monsoon, while winter northeast winds make it largely undivable.

Vote for the name divers really use. Divers who logged a dive here count double. The votes are counted every night, and the main name only changes when another name has led clearly for a week.
