Pearl Farm Wrecks

Also known as: Malipano Japanese Wrecks

Two Japanese ships from the Second World War lie directly in front of the Pearl Farm Beach Resort, by the small island of Malipano. Both have become artificial reefs where lionfish, barracuda and sea snakes are seen; the Dive Happy writer met the largest lionfish they had ever seen here. Visibility is often murky, so the wrecks appeal mainly to wreck enthusiasts. According to When In Manila, divers have to stay at the resort and use its dive service to visit them.
