Judith Rock
Also known as: Judith Reef
Judith Rock has a small top that stair-steps down through ledges and canyons before dropping sharply into deep water. Because it lies in a marine reserve, rockfish are big and easy to approach, including copper and vermilion rockfish and schools of blue rockfish, along with large sheephead and lingcod. Colourful sponges, corynactis and metridium anemones cover the rock faces, and nudibranchs feed on the sponges. Currents can be heavy, so it suits experienced divers.
