Candelero
Also known as: SS Francoli · Francoli · El Azufre
The Francoli was sunk by a German submarine during the First World War off the coast of La Manga. Its crew was rescued by a French steamer. Today the hull rests half sunk into the sandy seabed and rises only a little above the bottom. It is a deep wreck dive that the Cabo de Palos centres reserve for experienced divers with technical or advanced nitrox training.
