Ebo's Reef

The site is named after Ebo Domacasse, a pioneer of diving on Bonaire. Its mooring is anchored in very deep water, so divers cross a short stretch of open blue on the way to the reef and back. Huge orange elephant ear sponges, many with black crinoids on top, and big clusters of lavender stovepipe sponges are ideal for wide-angle photography. Reef fish are plentiful.
