Captain Don's Reef

Also known as: Cap. Don's Reef · Capt. Dons Reef

The site is on the south coast of Klein Bonaire, without a beach. A plaque placed at the mooring in 1987 honours Don Stewart for his work protecting Bonaire's reefs. The mooring is at the top of a dramatic drop-off. The wall descends in steps that flatten out with depth, cut by sandy channels. Black durgons and basslets swim along the edge.
