Mangrove Point
Also known as: Punta Manglar
Mangrove Point is a shallow reef that starts at about 5 m beside the mangroves close to Isla Colon and slopes gently down to a sandy bottom around 18 m. Shielded from current, it is a favourite site for underwater photographers. Pufferfish, stingrays and eels live on the reef, and nurse sharks or eagle rays sometimes rest on the sand. It is also known as a good night dive. Divers are asked to follow their guide closely because water taxis pass nearby.
