Victoria Canyons

Also known as: Victoria Tunnels

Victoria Canyons is a stretch of spur-and-groove reef where the canyons are overgrown with coral and form arches and tunnels. One tunnel starts at around 18 metres and leads down to about 27 metres. Shrimps, crabs and lobsters live in the cracks, while groupers, jacks, snappers, barracuda and nurse sharks patrol the canyons. Turtles and moray eels are regular sightings, and light falling through the openings makes the tunnels attractive for photographers.
