Amigo's Wreck

Also known as: Amigos Barge

The wreck was placed outside the coral canyons as an artificial reef, and the plan worked. Large Nassau and black groupers, hogfish, yellowtail snappers, nurse sharks and moray eels now live in and around the hull. Divers often start on the reef and drift down towards the wreck, then spend the second half of the dive exploring it. The top of the ship lies at about 12 metres and the hull rests in about 23 metres of water.
