It offers diving, snorkelling, canoeing and trekking, with dives around Iriomote’s north, west and south areas, including Barasu Island, Iriomote’s 100-plus points, and farther excursions to Ogann and the Hateruma area when sea conditions and level allow. Fun diving runs by boat from Uehara or Funauki, with night dives and early-morning dives available, and smaller-group supervision for try dives, where two guests dive with one instructor. The centre is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Dive Resort and provides PADI’s full diver education system, including a diving instructor course, along with further specialty courses.
