The Maze
Maze-like channels start in shallow water and lead through a wide canyon to a wall that falls steeply to the east and west. West of the mooring, at about 70 to 80 ft, a large cavern known as Willy's Hole holds glassy sweepers and sometimes lionfish. The shallows carry pinnacles, large coral heads, elkhorn and star corals, sea fans and rope sponges. Scorpionfish, lobster, green morays and queen triggerfish live in the channels, while stingrays, goliath groupers and conch are seen on the sand below.
