Panzerwand
Panzerwand lies at road kilometres 30.0 to 30.2 of the B158. In the last days of the Second World War a Sherman tank lost a track and sank with its crew; divers found it at 70 m in the 1970s, and it was later raised. Today the site offers impressive steep walls with overhangs. ARGE Tauchen rates it for advanced divers and recommends diving with the local base. It lies in the spawning-protection zone closed from mid-September to mid-April, with a year-round exemption for Dive Card holders.
