Biscaye

Also known as: Gabrielle · Biscay

Divers long knew this wreck as the Gabrielle, until its length, copper sheathing and a cargo of cod barrels found in 1994 pointed to the Biscaye instead. The ship lies on its port side on a slope, with the bow at about 29 m and the stern at about 39 m. Lobsters, soldierfish and moray eels can be seen on the wreck. It lies about 50 m from the Dahlia and the Diamant, roughly 200 m from the pier, so the three wrecks can be combined in one dive.
