Texas
Also known as: Texas Drift Dive
Texas is normally reached as a drift from West End Wall or Pablo's Place, carrying divers past giant barrel sponges and soft corals. The current brings plankton-rich water that attracts thousands of creole wrasse as well as hunting jacks and tunas. Sargassum triggerfish are often found around the sponge garden. Larger animals are more likely here because of the current. Surface conditions at The Point can be rough, so the dive depends on the weather.
