Mr. Bud Wreck

Also known as: Mr. Bud

The Mr. Bud lies near the channel between Brady's Cay and Big French Cay, close to the French Cay Cut site. The mooring line leads to the stern at about 60 ft, while the cabin roof reaches up to roughly 45 ft and the bow is wedged into the reef. The ship rests on its port side and its old bridge area forms an easy swim-through. Sand flats around it hold jawfish and garden eels, and stingrays and barracuda are regularly seen. Large sea plume colonies grow on and near the wreck, where seahorses sometimes hide.
