Mandy's Eel Garden
Also known as: Temptation Reef
Divers drop over a white sand patch and pass through a short swim-through, nicknamed 'the nostrils', onto a shallow wall. Where the reef meets the sand again near 21 m, large colonies of garden eels feed in the current and retreat into their burrows if approached. Spotted eagle rays frequently pass, and mantis shrimp, stingrays, turtles, green morays and flounders are also seen. Mild topography and little current make it suitable for beginners and families.
