Patato
Also known as: Batato
Patato combines rich coral formations with a network of tunnels and small caverns. Around midday the sun shines through gaps in the reef into the caves, which is the best time to visit. Outside the reef the bottom is around 12 m, while the sandy area inside the reef lies at about 7 m. Moray eels, lobsters, soldierfish and angelfish shelter in the passages, and nurse sharks are sometimes found under rocks. Surge and visibility depend on the swell.
