Anchor Reef

Also known as: Anchor

According to Grand Bay of the Sea, the crew of the Monica dropped anchor here when they realised they were too close to the coast, but too late to stop the ship from running aground. The anchor itself was later taken out of the water by local residents, while its chain still runs over the reef. The reef is busy with tropical fish and barracuda, and coral-covered structures make it a good photo site. Its depth makes it a natural next step for Open Water divers gaining experience.
